HDMI Cable

Hi All

V360 kit arrived yesterday, all set up but no HDMI cable with Mini Box, the old cable does work but very slow, best way of getting another one sent out ?, webchat doesn't seem to be working today

A HDMI cable can't be slow, it ether works or it doesn't

Ok as in does work but should you use the "official" cable, the remote volume doesn't sync is this a HDMI problem ?

you can adjust the audio delay in the set up of the box

Thanks , so you have to use the "official" cable ? don't want to sit on the phone for ages just to be told you can use any cable

if you get a picture it would suggest the cable is fine. If the cable was not right you would get no picture, adjust the sound sync setting in settings on the box . Is the cable connected to 4K or HD TV ?, If its HD then any HDMI cable should be fine

Thanks for the reply, it is a HD TV but as the new box streams 4k does this affect it ?

should the remote automatically sync with the TV ?, as is aid usually go through webchat but doesn't seem to be online today ?

4k simply won't work on an HD TV, it won't effect the operation 

Do you mean the volume control on the remote should work the TV volume? 

If so yes if the TV transmits its model, if its not working go to home click on the cog icon then to audio and video then to volume control, you can input the model of the tv

Can i ask is it worth getting  a HDMI cable sent out by Virgin

is there any reason you have to use their cable ?
