Did anyone else receive an email in mid August offering a free upgrade to what I believe is TV 360. Problem is when I click the link I get a message saying “oops you can not upgrade online” or similar. Tried numerous times to call Virgin but no one seems to know about this and the offer expires today? Can anyone help?
Have tried that on several occasions but no luck. However someone at Virgin has sent me a new link that apparently works Have just tried that and I get "Please call us about your upgrade We're really sorry, but we won't be able to sort your upgrade through our website. Instead, please give us a quick ring so we can go through the details with you.
Call us on 0345 454 1111 from any UK landline or mobile" Which sounds great but having called customer services several times no one there can help as they have no details of the offer!!!
Thankyou, yes I have just received another email with a link that supposedly works but unfortunately this link does not work either just suggests that I call customer services but I have already tried that on several occasions but no one seems to know anything about it?
I got the same upgrade to a new TV Experience on us in August and when selecting the link I get the error message Oops Something went wrong we are unable to upgrade your package online.
I spent an absolute age on the phone and eventually got through to someone who registered a complaint, gave me a manual link that appeared to work. Well I filled in my details but it did not ask for any account details just my address. Never heard anything back despite the 7 days notice.
Then yesterday, got a similar email with the we have fixed the link message, yet get the same Oops Something went wrong error message. Have given up trying on this. What is the point Virgin Media of sending out invites that nobody appears to be able to sign up to?
