I have tried ordering free upgrade as per:
I have attempted 2 orders, both failed.
First attempt stated needed more info. I contacted customer care, after 1 hour, no one knew what was up and order had been cancelled.
Send attempt stated I already have the services. I clearly don't , I have a V6 box and TV 360 was requested.
I don't think virgin are actually able to process these requests today for free upgrade.
Should I wait, seems TV360 may be having some issues?
I had an issue as I order online last week and didnt go through.
They then put the order through and my boxes are coming this weekend. I didnt have the 360 upgrade option on my current V6's.
Did you have to pay a £35 activation fee ?
Some members say they had to and others did not. I was told there would be a charge, so it might just be luck of the draw.
After about 4 web orders through https://store.virginmedia.com/existing-customer/my-offers/vtv360-ultimate-oomph-upgrade I finally had my free upgrade delivered, no activation fees. As a reminder this is for Oomph packages upgrades.
I didn't receive new boxes (main + mini), I just received 2 new remotes with instructions to upgrade my existing 2 full size TV6 boxes.
Procedure was very simple, took 10 minutes, a great way to upgrade avoiding unnecessary recycling of the main kit.
I can only think the ordering department were thoroughly confused about the upgrade approach, anyway finally resolved after nearly 2 months.
