There's nothing unique in how BBC channels are broadcast compared with other broadcasters - is this affecting BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 & BBC4? And ITV1, C4 unaffected?
When you say your 360 is slow to switch on, do you mean slow to restart/power-on - or switch on from standby?
