You've posted in the TiVo section of the forum, and CSxxxx errors are 360-platform, so I've moved your post to the 360-board. At a guess, you used to have a V6 (running TiVo software) but you converted it to a 360.
I'm also not convinced that error is necessarily external to your property, more likely a box issue - but all the same, if VM have diagnosed a tech appointment then go with it.
You can keep checking your myVM online account for any cancellations in the meantime, and hope another customer who currently has an appointment before yours, cancels.
