Hi again @pep4uk
Yes, I'm afraid if you want to pause the program on the mini for more than a couple of minutes then you do have to record it.
This is because the mini boxes don't have hard drives and so can't can't buffer the programs.
The mini boxes are the ones that Liberty Global (VM's owners) use throughout Europe, in Holland for example. In thsoe areas everything is stored in the cloud instead of the boxes having hard drives for recordings. Unfortunately the studios/program makers won't allow this in the UK.

Hi @pep4uk
I would also check the remaining free space in the hard drive, if there was not enough space left when a recording was due this could cause a failure
Recordings > View all - it displays the percentage used in the top left hand corner

Ty they have came up and gave me a mini box up to now seems to be working but hate how you can't pause the mini box lol ty for helping xx

Hi again @pep4uk
The mini box only pauses for around 2 minutes. The main box however buffers for around 3 hours.
To watch a paused program press Record. On the mini box press My Shows and scroll down to the end and you’ll see the name(s) of 360 boxes you have connected. Select the mini box press OK then choose the show you want to watch and press OK
