Hello,
Everytime we watch Disney+ we are met with an overheated box error error after 15 minutes or so. This only happens with Disney+ and can watch TV or Netflix for hours on end without issue. The box will then proceed to perform a full reset.
is anyone aware of this issue or experiencing something similar?
Our V6 box sits on a top of a unit to the side of our TV, there is not heat from the TV extracted to the box, it’s not in sunlight or obstructed so unsure why this is happening. We have only had the device a couple of months and doesn’t seem fit for purpose.
Any guidance is appreciated.

Are you viewing Disney+ on your VM TV box, or another device? I ask because the V6 doesn't have this app, only the TV360 does.
Do you have a TV360 or a V6? https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box - a V6 will have the TiVo logo in the top-right of the menu, a TV360 (which doesn't run TiVo-software) won't

Hello,
Ah thank you looks like it’s the Virgin TV 360 box they both look so similar.

Does anyone have any insight why this could happen to Disney+ only? Not sure if it’s an app issue, setup issue or I might need a new box issue.
Is everyone else able to use the app without issue? We can’t even watch one episode never mind a film.

I've used Disney plus for a few months now on the 360 and I can assure you that it doesn't overheat the box.

Hi hyden,
Thank you for your post.
I apologise that this is happening - I will admit, this is a first I have heard of any overheating issues relating to a specific app. With that - I want to make sure this is looked into for you. I will pop you over a private message so that I can take a look and help out.
Cheers,
Ryan.
