Disney+ No sound

I have logged in to my Disney+ app and account and I cannot get the normal sound on any show/film I watch, unless I watch it as audio descriptive version. Standard sound in what ever language doesn’t play, but if you play it with AD on, then it does play the sound, but with the AD over the top of the show. Anyone got any info on how to fix, I’ve reset my 360Box and hub. Netflix, Prime and YouTube all work, it’s just Disney+ I’m having issues with.

I just managed to get it working by changing the “audio & video” settings on Virgins settings section, change the audio output from “Follow Channel” to “PCM 2.0” it was the only way I have found to work

All working here.

What have you set you audio to? 'Floow Content' is the preferred option.

What's your setup i.e. TV and / or any AV kit?

It’s just a Sony tv and the 360 box, I have changed the hdmi cable too, swapped it with my new ps5 cable incase it was something to do with that, I read somewhere that it can sometime solve the problem. But this tv, it’s just the tv and just a 360 box. I have other 360 boxes around my house on my network though, they play the sound normally.. which doesn’t help the situation. But this one doesn’t play just the normal audio.

Could you post the specific TV model?

Do you have any problems with any other apps like Netflix, Prime Video or iPlayer?

Unsure if this is what you asked for but I find model number …

KDL-40EX401

It is a old hd tv, I get that, but it’s never seemed to have issues with sound before 😕

As you have more than one 360 box have you tried swapping the TV and boxes around to see if the problem follows the box or TV.

I swapped the boxes around to different TVs in my home, and the sound works normally on other TVs, but this boxes Disney+ won’t play normal (non-audio descriptive) audio. But will play AD audio. It would seem like my tv but the audio from everything else works.
