Could this be new hardware?

I recently found this post online containing a user manual for an apparent new Virgin Media service they are trialing currently.

I don't intend downloading the file, but given the filename "Stream User Guide", I'll hazard a guess it's related to...

Hello

Looking at the file and the related PDF this manual is for the v360 mini.

Re: Could this be new hardware?

I’ve downloaded the file myself - very daring - and it’s just a plain old PDF. The device itself is the same as a Liberty Global box i’ve seen online which is an IPTV box.

Re: Could this be new hardware?

I believe this is a streaming-only box for all streaming apps (no TV by cable). The forum was looking for people to test this several months ago. 'Someone' recently confirmed this to me as people gradually move away from traditional TV broadcasts.
