Control 4 issues

Just upgraded from the V6 to the 360, have to say the remote that I received is appalling, signal to the box via Bluetooth is poor so have to wave it around to change channels!! My question is i had been using Control 4 before the 360 upgrade, is there any particular reason why it no long works and what do I need to do to be able configure the control 4 remote. Seem to have lost all connection to it. very frustrating!!!

Hi, they were unable to assist and needs further assistance from someone more technical.  Really disappointed as I was not told about this before I upgraded. Seems the network portal is blocked out hence I am unable to access the the configuration to inable to use and configure the control 4 remote.

I seem to recall something similar coming up on here before, and I suspect this needs filing under "differences between TiVo/V6 & TV360"

Realistically, I don't think VM can be expected to highlight each & every difference between the platforms when someone requests (or accepts) a conversion - and where third party kit is concerned, asking on a forum such as this is often the way to go. Half a mind should always be on "buyer beware"
