I've had my email to upgrade my v6 to 360 but can't follow the instructions as there's no software update been added to my v6 box home page or my apps as it says in email. Can anyone help.
Not sure if the standard flyer will help or not...

Thankyou for that info. That's what I mean it says go to home and choose upgrade to 360 now. I don't have that on my home screen.
Have you contacted virgin and asked to be updated?
You can't update until you receive the new remote control and virgin has sent a single to the box.
So when I get the remote do I need to ring virgin to ask them upgrade again? If so thanks for the information.
If you've received the remote, then there's an order against your account - which I'd imagine should also trigger the software drop.
But having not done this migration myself, I'm surmising.

My questions to you:
1.Have you at anytime spoken with a member of Virgin Media staff, about updateing to virgin 360?
2. The email you refered to, was it a confirmation email for a placed order, or was it just marketing mail?
3. If you have placed an order and recived the new remote, then why have you not phoned Virgin Media for help?
I've spoke to virgin media numerous times but they have said different things. Confusing. Will wait for remote and contact them again. Thanks
The Day your new remotes are due to arrive, a signel will be set to the box and you will see the 360 update show up.
To get any sence out of the customer service people you must go through to retenstion.
