My virgin package has gone down total blackout. Been out for a week now! Can I cancel my package and not occur penalty charges for leaving early

What have you done so far to let Virgin Media try to fix the issue?

Welcome back to the community. 

Sorry to hear you're thinking of leaving us due to a service issue. I can see that there is an outage currently affecting you at this time. This is taking longer than expected to resolve due to damage caused to fibre cables by the 3rd party company. I can assure you that our engineers are working on fixing this as soon as possible. 

The estimated fix time is 21st July 2022 at 16:00. 

If the outage looks closed and fixed on our service status page, please reboot all your equipment and let us know if you have any further issue.
