Just moved house. Took out new contract to basically replicate a 3 box V6 multi room set up we had but now have a 360 master box and 2 small 360 boxes.
2 questions.
Is it possible to reuse one of the old V6 boxes to create a 4th room connection for a 4th TV, and if it is, how would I go about setting it up?
Is it a DIY job or would it require an engineer to install?
Any info would be great. Cheers.

The firmware on Horizon is only designed to run 3 boxes, so you are out of luck.
The firmware has had to be extensively modified to allow VM customers on existing contracts to migrate a maximum of two TiVO V6 boxes to Horizon in order to TEMPORARILY upgrade the storage to 2GB. When one of the ex-V6 boxes fail in this multiroom setup you are given a mini box to replace it.
So in short, no. Your V6 boxes will have to be returned as they have been removed from the system when your old contract expired.
