My 360 box has moved and the cable from the wall box is far too long how do I cut it ?

Your signal levels are adjusted correctly for the amount of cable you have between your boxes & the street cabinet. If you change the length you alter those levels, which may affect your service. I suggest unless you know how to open the street cabinet & adjust the levels correctly that you do not make changes to Virgins network cable.

To do this correctly will require a tech visit that will cost you £25. Coiling up the spare cable & tying securely would cost you nothing.

If you coil it up as suggested by nodrogd you won't need to call Virgin again if you decide to move the 360 in the future saving you £50.
