CS2004 error on MOST (not all) channels

mikefox
Dialled in

We had planned Virgin maintenance in our area today.

Broadband is back OK but most of the channels have CS2004 error. Rebooting does not help.

Hi @mikefox

Did you reboot both the hub and the 360?

Even though the broadband is back on there may still be issues with the TV service.

Have you looked at Check service status at the top of the page?

If nothing is showing  you could also try the  Service Status number  0800 561 0061.  This often gives details of more local issues down to postcode level.

Thanks.

I had not rebooted the hub but have now (and the 360 again) but still the error.

Service status reports no problems and my neighbour has TV (though probably not TV360 if that makes a difference)

Support booked an engineer to come out. But then a message came saying visit was on hold
while they investigated a network problem.

Result: all is solved now  😊

Hi again @mikefox

Thanks for updating the thread.

I'm pleased to see everything is now working as it should be.

Stay safe and take care.

Network upgrades sometimes involve replacing the amplifiers in the cabinets. If several amplifiers in a "chain" of cabinets are replaced, these have to be recalibrated once they go live. This can lead to "out of tolerance" operation for a while after everything is reconnected until all the amplifiers are recalibrated & stablised.
