The 360 does not record a series across channels like the V6 did, so if the BBC decide to move an episode from BBC1 to BBC2 for some reason you would need a series link set up for BBC2 as well.
Everything about this software just seems backwards. From what I remember you could search a show on the V6 and record a series link. To do that on the 360, it needs to be on TV somewhere, as if it's on demand, there is no option to record.
So with the information you have posted, Most of my series links are set up wrong I believe. I'm just going to make this example up but if I searched Top Gear and it comes up on channel Dave and I click record and new episodes only, will this not pick up the new series on BBC One? All seems such a huge step back to what we had.
