BBC One HD Delay

Does anyone know why there is now a delay of about seven seconds on BBC One HD in comparison with BBC One?  They were near on simultaneous until a few days ago.

Hi @BenFax

Just checked on my 360 and there's only around 1 second difference between the 2 channels.

Just checked again, definitely about seven seconds here.  BBC One Yorkshire, HX3.  In the scheme of things not very important I know, it's just irritating.

Hello @BenFax,

Welcome to the community, thanks for posting.

I am sorry to see that the sound is out.

Are you using any 3rd party sound bars? Or is this directly through the TV?

Many thanks,

Hayley

Every channel is delayed on VirginMedia and Sky to one extent or another.

The only way People know of the delay is because they are looking for it.

It doesn't cause a problem and when it all goes streaming you can expect up to two minutes in delays.
