Accidentally bought adult night ticket whilst trying to remove the channels

I’ve recently upgraded to virgin 360 and whilst  trying to hide the adult content on the box I think I have accidentally bought a night ticket! On the old box it was easy to remove those channels but can’t make any sense of this new system. I have tried to call Virgin Media to sort this problem out and remove this accidental purchase but they’re closed. Can anyone advise how to refund this accidental purchase and if it’s possible to remove this content from the box like it was possible with the old box. I wish I had stayed with the old box now, this is so stressful

Hi @Jaz20

You need to enter the pin number to be able to order/watch adult content.

You can set up to 6 personalised profiles on the 360 - by doing that you can select which channels will be listed, and thus not show the adult channels.

The 'Shared' profile will always show all channels.

To set up favourites you have to create a profile or profiles. Each profile can set up their own set of favourite channels. Go via the settings menu, or press the profile button on the side of the remote control.

You seem to need to accidentally enter the PIN number twice to order an buy an adult ticket accidentally.

Well the pin wasn’t entered twice but some message quickly flashed up about a night ticket. I stopped immediately and got on the phone to virgin media but there offices were closed.

I didn’t want to watch but remove it like it was possible on the old box for child safety. In the process it asked for PIN verification and I think I may have accidentally bought it, I’m not certain as I immediately stopped everything and got on the phone to virgin media but there offices were closed. I stated a live chat but that was unsuccessful so I thought of messaging on here for advice

Channels can be locked in settings.

It’s fairly obvious.

Go into settings;

Navigate to Parental Controls;

Navigate to Lock Channels.

I apologise.

Just checked. Adult channels are automatically pin protected.

The advice above re profiles is the way forward to removing them from the guide. Create a profile without the channels and set that profile as the default.

I’m sure the OP could do without your ‘accidental’ sarcasm as well!
