Since the latest update, my 360 box keeps resetting to “Automatic” HDMI resolution every day, despite being set to 1080i.
Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks
VM are updating the 360 boxes in stages. Mine updated to 4.31 two weeks ago and my resolution hasn't changed.
Some posters have indicated they are already on 4.32.
Which version are you on?
Have you tried rebooting the 360 to see if that solves the issue?
Also you could try a factory reset. System > Factory Reset.
With the 360 you won't lose your recordings as it's not a complete factory reset, however you will need to sign into apps such as iPlayer and ITV Hub again.

Tried that and the problem still seems to occur every few days as my resolution was back to Automatic today. I would keep it this way if it were not for the constant flickering and artefacting at 4K.
It looks as though it might have something to do with the full screen promo images that have been appearing every so often although I’m not sure as it’s only the main box.
Have you tried switching out the HDMI ?
I found this helped when was having resolution issues with my Playstation 4, I
know they are different but as the cable was old it messed with the resolution
