Can anyone tell me why the tv button or the back button doesnt clear the menus on my jvc smart tv.also to work volume i had to pht the tvs model in… its a brand new tv

Hi Katiea81, 

Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you've been having an issue with pairing your Virgin Media remote to your TV. 

As the remote control is for your 360 box, there may be a number of functions on your TV that the Virgin Media remote won't work for. 

To combat this, it may be worth trying more codes than just the one you've used incase this helps. You can find further help on this here.
