This spike (quite loud) is driving me, wife and dog up the wall. Have re-paired, put in new batteries next job is to throw it out of the window. Can anyone give any help please?

If you mean a high-pitched audio when changing between some channels - it is a known problem with the Panasonic TV which occurs on Sky boxes too.

Or are you having a different issue?

Welcome to the Community and thank you for posting.

We are very sorry to hear you are experiencing an audio issue.

Can you please confirm what is happening and if the issue sounds similar to what ozsat has described?

Thank you,

Hi, The issue is very much as Ozsat describes although we never had it on Sky (just changed from them to Virgin), nothing extra added and basically just changed the relevant boxes.

It only occurs if your box is set to Dolby 5.1 output - it occurs when the box changes between 2.0 and 5.1 and the Panasonic TV (and a few others) give the feedback type noise.

It also only occurs if your set-top-box HDMI is direct to the tv.

If you are only using the tv for output - use regular PCM 2.0 audio and not 'Follow Content'
