I like the music channels. I like to record the "top 50" type programs which last for 5 hours plus.
I set the recording using the Tv guide on screen.
I set one 5 hour program and it stopped recording after 3 hours 45 mins.
The second program was another 5 hour plus program I even checked it was recording all parts as there appeared to be 2 parts one from 08:00 to 13::00 and then from 13:00 to 13:45. It recorded a total of 19 mins from the start.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
Thank you for taking the time to post on the forums in regards to your TV service and issues with recordings. We understand the confusion caused and you raising this via the forums.
We have help in regards to the TV service here that may help in regards to this, what set top box do you have? How long has this happened for? Do you know if there is currently any space available on your hard drive?
Just to double check - the shows that you are recording, do they split onto a new show.
What I mean by that is on the TV guide for example is it 'Top 50 from 8AM12PM' but then the continuation of the programme is then from 12PM to 3PM for example. What I think is happening just from it only being on that kind of programme is that it is split over 2 programmes, rather than just 1 continuation of a 5 hour show. Which would mean if you have recorded x programme but then it changes at y time, that's when it would stop.
Is it possible you could check? I know what I have put above looks/sounds super confusing so if you need a hand just give me a shout.
I've tested a 5 hour recording, "Biggest Party Hits on the Planet" from the Box channel on Wednesday 4th .
I had added 5 minutes extra time before the start and 5 minutes extra time after the end and it recorded perfectly.
It was a continuous recording, and there were no breaks according to the EPG.
I'm on TV360 build version 4.43
Sorry been away for work for a month.
When the program has spanned 2 times like you have described I have checked and on the guide it indicates both would be recorded.
It has not stopped naturally at the end of part 1 of the program either.

Thanks for coming back to us. To be honest we're also a little stumped here as to why this is happening!
Can you please ensure your TV box is turned on, so we can run diagnostic checks on your service and see if there's any tuner issues which could be causing this?
