360 TV box 1&2 - recordings vanished

Our TV boxes 1 & 2 recordings have all been deleted and will no longer record anything. We converted the V6 box to 360 back in April and everything has worked fine since, up to today.

The only thing that could be an issue was the engineer came in two days ago to replace a cable on the router and then linked a new cable from the router to the 360 TV box 1 and the TV, and that shouldn't have deleted the recordings in any case. Additionally, the TV box keeps on stopping when I go into the APPS section.

So we have lost multiple series that we hadn't watched and now can't, record anything, quite frustrated and I assume there is no way to get the recordings back!
