360 Splitter

I am a returner to Virgin and have set everything up myself except for the mii box upstairs.  All the cables are still in place but I need a splitter (I think that's what it's called anyway).  I can't find a way to get passed the Bot to speak with anyone to get this piece of equipment.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's the connector to join the 2 boxes to the main inlet box.

I think the only way you can get the splitter you require, even if everything else was in place and working and the splitter had failed would be by having an engineer visit as they are part of the engineers stock and not a consumable accessory that can be just sent out.

Do you have a Virgin connection box on the wall where you want the mini box, if not it sounds like you need a Virgin engineer to install one, if that's the case then you need to call Virgin and ask for a manned installation.

I have the box and wiring from bedroom to downstairs.  I need the equivalent of a double plug to plug the wiring from main 360 box and mini box to the one inlet on the wall.  Is that the ‘splitter’?   I had one when were a Virgin user previously but can’t find it anywhere now

If you have never had multiroom then you need a VM technician to install a second outlet either via the internal wiring or via the external box to a new entry point, & to adjust the signal levels.

Under no circumstances use your own coax cabling, as this can cause interference issues with VMs local network as well as your own installation. Coax meant for Freeview or Satellite is not triple screened & is not suitable.

We have all the original wiring from our original install.   All I need is the double adapter to put the coax in from both boxes and this then goes into the main inlet.   The little thing I need is about 5cm x 5cm.

Thanks for the advice but finding it impossible to speak to anyone.  Will try again tomorrow

When you phone ignore all the options offered and you should then be placed into a queue to speak to someone, best time to call is at 8am.
