360 Oomph upgrade shows higher monthly cost

Hi,

When I go through the upgrade link, it says my monthly price will be £89 going forward, up from £77.99.

Is this just an anomaly or will I end up having to make endless calls to VM to get my bill reduced back down after the upgrade?

Knowing what package / deal you were on before you upgraded would help to answer your question.

Are you sure you was on Ultimate Ooomp.  If so how was you getting it for £77.99 that is below the normal price

It was on offer at that price a few weeks ago, along with £250 bill credit or a free TV.

If you are already on oomph what are you trying to upgrade to ?

If you were on V6 oomph and are upgrading to 360 oomph then I assume it will go up, as "you" are changing your contract, and it's not Virgin offering a free upgrade as they have done to other people.

You’re right, it shouldn’t go up. Although I’ve never seen that price point before either!

I imagine the discount code you have to knock the additional £12 off is the issue.  

call in and they should be able to do it without the change to your bill 

 

PS are you sure the £77 wasn’t the “effective” price after the Bill credit?
