Fibre phone upgrade

Once switched over to fibre phone is the wall socket redundant? And if it is can the wall socket be removed?

I'm very interested in knowing this too.  No point still having a phone wall socket if it is redundant and could never be used again.

Unless you've arranged with Virgin Media for the Hub to be wired into the existing Virgin Media phone sockets, then they won't be used for phone services again.
