virgin payg phone deactivated

I thought I had lost my virgin payg phone and to be honest I don't use it all that much but the other day I found it. but obviously it has been de-activated. went online for over an hour trying to find out how to sort it so in the end I telephoned virgin mobile only to be put on hold and after 25 minutes gave up[at a cost to me] now need a new sim card, and the phone activated. how do I do that. any help would be appreciated as I am a tech amateur. thanks

Re: virgin payg phone deactivated

I'm afraid if your PAYG SIM has been deactivated for none use there is no way to get it back

Further bad news is Virgin no longer do PAYG so a new SIM is not possible
