virgin mobile app is showing false call minutes total?

I have the Virgin Mobile app on my phone that gives a re-cap of calls, texts, data used since my last allowances were refreshed.
It is currently showing 1532 mins used since my last refresh, but when I log in online my call history only shows around 5-10 minutes of calls being logged in the same period.
There is absolutely no way I have made 25 hours of phone calls in the last month. Why is the information shown by the app so wildly inaccurate?
Should I be worried about this?
My package includes unlimited free calls so I am hoping this is not affecting my ability to make or receive calls? My service for calls and texts is currently showing 'emergency calls only' and has been stuck like this since Sunday morning (21 June).
