Why when I try to upgrade my sim only deal online are the prices ridiculously higher that the prices stated on the Virgin Mobile site.
I wanted to upgrade the 3 sim deals I have with virgin. I was looking at 2x 8gb deal advertised at £8 but when I go to upgrade virgin want £20 from me. The third I want the 25gb deal at £12 but again virgin want to charge me £24???
Its easier for me to cancel all three and go to. anew supplier than to contact Virgin. I understand the whole country is in a meltdown but its only Virgin I am having problems trying to contact. My son works for one of the biggest call centres and he is working from home no problem, so im sure virgin call centre staff can work from home.
I am trying this txt contact thing but they say it can take 24 hours to get back to me, this isnt acceptable, whats wrong with live chat on the screen. Other companies manage it ok.
Anyone else noticed these problems with virgin, both the difference in pricing onscreen and what they actually offer and the trying to contact them problem.
All prices listed on the Virginmedia are for new customers.
