sim not valid

My elderly father he’s 85 received a new sim that he DID NOT. ask for and whatever we do it says sim not valid. I have sent numerous emails and called numerous numbers to find out why. He has a Nokia 1100 which is an old phone but worked perfectly until Virgin sent the new sim. My mum has severe alzheimers and he needs to be able to be contactable permanently. How is he supposed to get his phone back working if no one helps him. I am totally disgusted with this service from Virgin and expect this to be dealt with as a matter of urgency. It is now over a week that he has been without mobile phone

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

I'm very sorry that your father is having issues with his new SIM and for the delay in getting back in touch, we have been busier than usual. 

Has this been resolved since your post?
