sim not recognised as part of M200 bundle

I purchased M200 Oomph with included 5Gb Sim. However this is not shown in the Media account. I cannot use Connect because my Sim is unrecognised although the phone works. I have been shunted around the VM loop for 4 days and had to wait in all day, every day. Several times told I was in the wrong place. Most recently as I tried to fill on the security form, I was cut off. Can anyone please help. I am beginning to regret leaving Plusnet!!
