sim card

I have a New phone Nokia 8.3?.

Requested a new sim card from VM, arrived in good time, I was trimming it and damaged the new card, requested another one and was told no can do but to put the sim card from my old phone into the new one, went through the process of texting 789678 to get the new phone up and running was confirmed, came up with not registered on network, took it out and replaced it back into my old phone tried to ring VM with the mobile number 789, came up with the same message, now for obvious reasons cant get hold of VM Help Desk,

We can help get you a replacement SIM card, I'll send you a PM to confirm your mobile account details. You do not have to trim SIM cards, they already come with the option to multi-sized, just pop out the size you need.

Thanks for your message, julienhoulton, your SIM card should now be activated. It can take up to 24 hours, but it's usually within 10 minutes.
