sim card

I have just started new ooomph contract which includes a sim card.  I already am a customer with virgin for my mobile and asked if I could keep my number.  I have put the new sim card I received into my phone but it is not my number.  Please can someone advise me how I can transfer my number from one sim card to the new sim card.  Thank you

Sorry that we haven't sent the sim out with the correct number on, I can see that you've spoken to the team yesterday, have you been able to get this issue resolved during your conversation with the team?
