Is there such a thing as a signal booster to help with my phone coverage not the snake oil type that stick to your phone thank you * i live in south devon it says coverage is fine but it lies on website

more about note being able to send texts  than calls to be fair sorry i should have said that in the post thats why  i was asking about booster

Welcome back to the community and thanks for taking the time to post.

We dont offer any such products or services from Virgin Media and the only thing that I can suggest to help with this is if you could use messaging services that use WiFi such as WhatsApp or Facebook messenger to send messages rather than the phone network.

im sure on my old poco i was able to send texts over  virgin wifi as i still could text with sim card removed  and get texts on it

My mistake @gokus, I have spoken to the mobile team and you should be able to send text messages via Virgin WiFi and you can find more information about this here.

aww thanks virgin said its now my old sim and maybe a week or so to send new one 

now iphones totaly unuseable  even with  wifi voice and text had i known that u caint use iphone on virgin ( who offer it ) i would have got samsung well im stuck in contrct till its payed off  for a phone i caint use

Hope so as its stressed me out along with call center dude promiseing me new sim today that never came so maybe next  week or week after have feeling i have a well expensive paperweight
