Every day my wife's phone goes offline and records Not Registered on the Network. This is getting ridiculous now. A reboot fixes it but then it happens again some time after.

I cant send or receive texts on the phone. 

As it is not my own phone but on my contract, I cannot give precise timing.

I have tried the online chat but nothing happens after I enter "Other" from the automated chat. What is the point of this facility. Samsung A50

I am very sorry to hear your wife has been experiencing issues with her phone going offline.

Is this happening only whilst you are at home or in different locations? 

Have you tried the SIM in a different handset to see if the service resumes?
