I can't get mobile data in Malta. I've tried all three networks ('Go Mobile', 'elite' and 'Melita').
I've tried sending 'All' to the number in the instructions, I get the configuration files and install all of them. I also, power off the mobile and on again.
This is the same problem I had 3 years ago which was fixed.
I now can't get mobile at all. The message 'not registered on network' always appears.

Hi there @GarySmallridge
Thank you so much for your post and welcome back to the community forums.
I'm so sorry to hear that this has happened and your mobile is not working!
Can I ask if you have made sure roaming is switched on in your My Virgin Media Mobile account?
Can I also ask what make and model your handset is?
Thank you.

Wow, this is going to take a long time to fix (again).
I have to use my laptop connected to neighbour's wifi (with their permission).
Yes, roaming is switched on in my account.
Galaxy S9.

Hey there @GarySmallridge, thank you for the reply.
May I ask if you've been able to try another SIM card in the phone itself?
Need to check if it's the phone that's an issue or if it is the SIM.
Let us know 🙂
Kind regards.

Oh gawd, really?
Is this what's known as a delaying tactic?
It's a fairly new sim card, it was working in the Galaxy S7 before the S9. If you look at the archived info, I had this problem each time I came to Malta.
In the meantime I'm running out of holiday.

I'm sorry to see that you think this is a delaying tactic @GarySmallridge, we are trying to establish what could be the cause of the issue as well as offer help which may help resolve it.
I would recommend checking the sim tool kit to see if this helps with the connection. The instructions for this can be found below:
Select Apps from the Home Screen
Select Virgin SIM Toolkit Icon
Select Roaming
Select Mode
Select Manual
Select International-you are done, go back to Home Screen
To Switch back when in the UK:
Select Apps from Home screen
Select Virgin SIM Toolkit Icon
Select Roaming
Select Mode
Select Automatic and go back to Home Screen
If this does not work, please let us know and we will be happy to assist further.
Regards
Nathan

Nope @Nathan_B, still have the little 'r' over the mobile signal strength.
Switched off wi-fi. No internet connection.
Restarted phone, no internet connection.
If you want me to put in a new SIM, you'll have to send one.

Hey @GarySmallridge, thanks for the update.
I'm sorry to hear the issue still isn't sorted out, we'll investigate this matter further.
I will send a private message inviting you in to a private message - watch out for the purple envelope.
Kind regards.
