new sim

I currently have a PAYG. I want to move to pay monthly with a new tariff - sim only - can I keep the sim that I have and just switch to pay monthly - and if so , how do I do this?

Our sim is used in a gate intercom, so I don't want to change it and have to re-programme it (usually with the help of a gate technician at a cost). Can I keep my current sim where it is ?

Re: new sim

I assume the SIM has already been changed in the last couple of years as all the old style red EE based SIM cards are being  withdrawn and will cease to work.

Also Virgin are moving networks from EE to Vodafone this year, same SIM but need to make you aware.

I'm a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share knowledge, I don't work for Virgin Media. Learn more

Re: new sim

No, I don't wish to upgrade online. I just want to know if I change my plan, will I be given a new sim, or will I be able to keep my existing sim? It is the new type.

Re: new sim

Hi Burmey,

Apologies for our delayed response,

I'm afraid it's not something we can say for certain from here without looking into your account and going through the order.

Were you able to speak with our Sales Team? If so what did they advise?

Kind regards,

Beth

Ive noticed on the bills that only a few calls have been inside the plan and therefore free each month . I'm very confused as I have no idea why some are feee and some aren't - can you explain this for me please?

Many thanks

Re: Calls outside plan - confused

Thanks for coming back to us Burmey,

Can you tell us if the calls that have incurred a charge begin with 084, 087, 09 or 118?

If so, there would have been an access charge, which would be valid.

Have you possibly made any calls to other countries - including the Isle of Man and Rep. of Ireland?

Kindest regards,

David_Bn
