Re: new sim

Hi davren1,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. My apologies for the SIM issues. Is this a new SIM we've sent you recently as part of the migration?

Kind regards,

Re: new sim

Hi davren1,

Thanks for coming back, apologies for our delayed response.

Have you tried putting the SIM into another device to see if it's recognised by another handset?

Also, can you please confirm the make and model of your handset?

Many thanks,

Beth

Re: new sim

Hello Beth, thank you for responding.

To answer your first question - yes, but not on an 'unlocked' device, and no it didn't work.

As to the make and model - the make is  LG.  I am not sure what the model number is as there are several different numbers printed on the inside of the battery compartment but would  CE0168  be a model number?

Re: new sim

CE0168 is just a compliance mark to a EU standard,  not a model number

Re: new sim

I see,  thank you mwarby.

Can you tell me how many numbers a model number has, or are they all different?

Re: new sim

HI davren1, I am sorry to hear that you ahve been unable to gain the make and model of the device and quick and easy way would be to do this via the IMEI number, this can be obtained by clicking *#06# and then go on google and search for an IMEI checker and it will reveal the make and model of the handset - Chris.
