new sim sent to old address

Hi, i lost my phone and requested a replacement SIM back in February, during phone call i updated a new address in the uk due to being over seas, just received an email to say been sent out to old address, but within email it says i need email to get new sim started, if in the wrong hands can someone activate replacement sim or not?

Most are not pre activated and need the account holder to activate them 

Also they expire after a month if not used

Thanks a lot, it does say to keep the email to get started, so hopefully not much to worry about, thanks for replying

Hi I was notified that a new sim was being sent out so I changed my account details to check and subsequently correct my address. I have since checked and the new sim was sent out to my old address. I can't ring through it appears too busy and please advise what I should do to get that cancelled and a replacement if needed
