new sim not working

okay so managed to lose my original sim after letting my partner have my phone after breaking hers.  Thankfully got a nice new replacement sim.

Unfortunately not working at all

popped it in, waited for it to register, and waited.  2days later and i've tried 4 different unlocked phones  (both android and apple) restarted the phones, reset network settings, manually tried to set network.

says 'no service' or 'sim unable to connect to this network'

checked coverage/know issues - none evident in my area

anyone have any ideas

Just to confirm you've activated the SIM card and it's been 24 hours since you did this?
