I have received a new sim for my old nokia model 1100 for a stated upgraded service This sim when installed gives the message 'sim not valid' . The help page says device not recognised. The old sim has been replaced in the phone where it works perfectly. What needs to be done to get the new sim working before Virgin disconect the old sim as they threaten
Joining in here - I'm having same problem with Nokia 1100 phone and you seem to be the only person giving any sort of help. My letter says I have a personal unblocking key with 8 figures. Shall I give this a go, Many thanks.
Thanks for quick response but I'm a bit hesitant if you don't think it sounds right. Do you not think the 8 digit personal unblocking key is the same as an unblocking code? If I try it and it doesn't work, what should I do then. Thanks for all your help.
I have been out of action for a few days but have now tried the enlii answer using the 8 digit personal unblocking key you sent. It would not take the last hash and so has NOT worked. Please can you help.
