Re: new mobile sim card problem

Because your phone is likely to be network locked and needs a code.

Check your letter or the red plastic card for a long number

Re: new mobile sim card problem

Hey colinbrett,

Sorry to hear that you're getting a "wrong car message". Can you tell us more about the SIM your're using and whether you've recently changed your handset? What colour SIM do you have and is it an old one or a new replacement SIM?

Please give us more details so we can help.

Thanks,

Lisa

Re: new mobile sim card problem

old samsung phone. Tried every number on the letter and the plastic card. Impossible to contact anyone for help. Virgin has basically swindled us out of the £30 remaining on this phone - we will never knowingly consume a virgin product again.

Re: new mobile sim card problem

Good Morning brumas,

Thanks for your post and I'm sorry to see you've been having issues with the handset after inserting our new SIM card.

The SIM card will still be free to use in any unlocked phone for you to access the £30.00 credit.

In the meantime, can you please advise me if you purchased the handset from Virgin Media or from a third party provider?

Kindest regards,

David
