my number hasn't ported although i submitted my pac already

i bought a new sim on thursday night and my number still hasnt ported yet

Hello, Jake.

Porting can take anywhere from 1-7 working days to process, please bare in mind that it could also take up-to 4 weeks depending on the LCP (Losing Communications Provider) takes to communicate with the GCP (Gaining Communications Provider)

I would highly recommend calling your GCP and see If they have a date of port yet.

thats my point, i am transferring my number to virgin and have already provided the pac

Give Virgin Mobile a call (0345 454 1111) option 2.

They will be able to assist you more than anyone on here may be able to.

They will be able to advise you on the exact port date.

There is an agreed schedule for PAC transfers in the UK but Virgin have acknowledged they have a problem.

Was that this Thursday just past?

As it was after 5pm then it would not go through till today. As there are no ports Sat and Sunday it should go Monday.

If it was the Thursday last week then it is part of Virgins on going problem
