My better half has recently moved from EE to Virgin.
Has had the iphone 12 for a few weeks.
Often when trying to make a call it wont and a voice will either state no credit or sometimes replies in french/flemish.
She contacted customer support last week who advised to change location from UK to something else.. then back again.
This is only a temporary fix though. Problem still occurs.
Having a quick google, seems this is a known problem. But doesnt seem to have a fix!
Could someone please advise?
Settings -> mobile data -> SIM Applications -> tap "Roaming" -> tap "Select Mode"
I found "automatic" was selected by default.
Tap manual -> then choose National.

i did see this solution and have made the change (so hoping the issue goes away!)
