I have received a new sim card, but it comes up invalid sim, this is a phone supplied by virgin after a 40 min wait on the phone to try and get answer I gave up any ideas? or should I take a common advice and go else ware? P Brown
Probably a network locked phone. Phones locked to work on the old Virgin SIM cards need unlocking to work on the new.
If the phone was bought from Virgin they may have sent you an unblocking code.

they gave me an unlocking code and said that the phone would ask for it, it did not! PB

I'm also sorry to hear you're having problems getting the new SIM to work in your handset. Can you confirm the make/model of the handset please?
