invalid sim card and remaining airtime balance

the new sim card issued by Virgin Media yields "invalid sim card" and all functionality has been cancelled. It's an old phone and I don't have the original account details but there is an airtime balance which I would like refunded. How do I go about this please?

Re: invalid sim card and remaining airtime balance

Thanks for your post jimbo10

We can refund the balance by debit card if you paid online to top up

if not then the remaining balance will not be able to be refunded

Re: invalid sim card and remaining airtime balance

Thanks very much for your reply. It's an old pay as you go phone purchased 22/01/10.

I've topped up mainly at my local supermarket using an ATM with debit card and E-Top up card..

Most recent receipts I have are:

1)   ATM with debit card                £20               06JUN 18

2)   E-top up card

( 19 digits expired 05/19 )             £25               8/05/19

Can I use any of this information to redeem my airtime balance which is of the same order as the amounts above?

Many thanks,

Jimbo10

Re: invalid sim card and remaining airtime balance

So we would need to pass some security on the account in question with the account holder and then any that is done over a debit card could be refunded.

Thanks, Emily.
