I've received the same email as many others have about being moved to a different plan and my so-called lifetime discount being removed. This will have the effect of more than doubling my monthly payment. I am on a 30 day sim only plan.
I bought my iPhone 5S from Virgin separately to any plan. I know it's an old phone but it suits me fine. There are some excellent deals around so I'm considering moving providers. I want to keep my number as I've had it for around 20 years. Is the phone locked to the Virgin network and, if so, how easy will it be to get it unlocked? I can't be without my phone as it's the only way for my elderly (89 years old) Dad to contact me.
