iPhone 6 & 4G

I have just been given an iPhone 6 from a family member when they upgraded their phone. I previously had an iPhone 5se.

I can't seem to get 4g on the phone. The indicator comes up as "E" which I believe is 2g. I had 4g on my iPhone 5se and I transferred the sim card.

Anyone got any steps to fix?

Thanks

Re: iPhone 6 & 4G

As the SIM itself is working that means the device isn't locked. So see if any of these instructions from Apple help

Re: iPhone 6 & 4G

Thanks for your reply. It had 4g selected. I changed it to 3g or 2g and back to 4g but in all instances, "E" is displayed.

Hey AscotGuy,

Have you been able to get you 4G service working since you last posted on Sunday?

Re: iPhone 6 & 4G

No, I switched back to my iPhone 5 as the wifi stopped working as well.

I am going to do a factory reset and start again.
