iMessage/Face Time not activating

Transferred from Vodafone to VM on Monday, got confirmation the transfer was succesful. But since then I am unable to activate iMessage or Facetime.

Have spent hours on chat with VM and got no where, no one appears to have a clue what is going on. Have spoken to Apple and that have confirmed everything is OK and the issue is that international SMS is not enabled. They asked me to send a validation text to 48369 which fails, so this appears to suggest the issue is on the VM side.

I've tried pretty much everything to resolve the issue but nothing works, anyone else got an bright ideas?

Thinking of cancelling and going back to Vodafone
