Thank you for your reply. This happened on Sunday last week so not sure, I had this issue earlier in the year and turned to the forum for help. So far mobile data off, wifi assist off, I have just turned off app background refresh. I use whatsapp most of the time for messaging, I'm self isolating since March, so no need to use mobile anything. Only thing i've not turned off is the phone. Now that would sort the problem out! Why do you ask? Just checked and I did try and text to a five figure number which didn't send. Looking at it, it was shortly after i had the text saying I'd hit the spending cap.Even without that tho where am I using up 1gb data? i don't stream stuff or whatever it's called. I use wifi 99.9% of the time, so doesn't make sense. It's been suggested I just change provider. I cant see what my usage is cause presumably it's because my bill is about due. Can only access last months.
